Refund & Payment Policy
Last updated: 2026
1. Payment Structure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects follow a 50/50 structure:
- 50% upfront to reserve the slot and begin work.
- 50% on delivery of the agreed MVP.
2. Upfront Payment
The upfront 50% payment is non-refundable. It covers:
- Reserving time in the schedule for your project.
- Initial scoping, architecture decisions, and setup work.
- Early implementation and iteration.
3. Second Payment
The second 50% is due on delivery of the agreed scope. If we materially fail to deliver what was agreed and cannot reasonably fix it, you are not required to pay the second half.
4. Changes of Mind
If you change priorities or decide not to continue with the project for reasons unrelated to a failure on our side, this does not qualify for a refund of the upfront payment. We're always happy to scope follow-on work or adjust direction in a new engagement.
5. Disputes
If you believe the delivered MVP does not match the agreed scope, we will:
- Review the scope and deliverables together.
- Identify specific gaps or issues.
- Propose and implement reasonable fixes to bring the project in line with the agreement.
Only if we cannot reasonably fix those gaps do you get the option not to pay the remaining 50%.
