Terms of Service

1. Services

FastMVP provides fixed-price product design and development services, typically focused on building minimum viable products ("MVPs"). The exact scope, deliverables, price, and timeline are defined in writing (email or proposal) before work starts and form part of these Terms.

2. Process & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your business and goals.
• Respond to questions and review deliverables in a timely way.
• Provide access to third-party services where needed.

Our responsibilities

• Deliver the agreed scope within the agreed timeline,
• Communicate progress and blockers openly,
• Provide reasonable documentation and a walkthrough on delivery.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, 50% of the project fee is due upfront to reserve the slot and 50% is due on delivery of the agreed MVP. Work does not start until the upfront payment is received. Invoices are payable within 7 calendar days of issue.

4. Scope and Changes

The project scope is defined before we start and is fixed for that engagement. If you want to change or extend scope, we'll agree on an updated price and timeline in writing before proceeding.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the code, configuration, and other deliverables created specifically for your project and may use, modify, and extend them for your business. We retain the right to reuse generic, non-project-specific patterns and the right to reference the project generically in our portfolio (unless we agree otherwise in writing).

6. Third-Party Services

Your MVP may depend on third-party tools such as hosting providers, payment processors, or email services. You are responsible for creating and maintaining your own accounts with those providers and for any ongoing fees. We are not responsible for outages, pricing changes, or limitations imposed by those services.

7. Maintenance

Unless explicitly included in the scope, FastMVP does not provide ongoing maintenance, a standing bug-fix retainer, or 24/7 support. Post-launch work can be agreed as a separate engagement.

8. Disclaimer

All software is delivered "as is". We aim for production-ready quality but cannot guarantee the absence of all bugs or vulnerabilities or any specific business outcomes (such as revenue, user growth, or investment).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any project is limited to the total amount you have paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement in writing if the other party materially breaches these Terms and does not remedy the breach within a reasonable time. If you terminate early without a breach on our side, the upfront payment is non-refundable.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in effect when you accept a proposal and/or pay the initial invoice.
